Guy Pearce has starred in several different projects throughout his career. The actor has starred in many dramas like Momento and The Hurt Locker and blockbuster movies like Iron Man 3 and Prometheus. But there's a particular family-friendly movie he's known for, and that is Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories, where he played the role of the arrogant Kendall Morgan. It was a fun movie, and fans enjoyed watching Pearce show his comedic side. For Guy Pearce, starring in the movie was a thrilling experience, and he recently talked about why he enjoyed being in the movie so much.
"I remember somebody asking me years ago how I choose the roles that I choose. And sometimes it does depend on what I've done recently as well. And I remembered in 2007, and I did four really heavy films, one that was about a mass shooting at a cafe and then another about a girl who murdered another girl. And then we did, then we did… Hurt Locker, and then we did Traitor. One was about a bomb disposal unit, and one was about terrorism, so all these really heavy films were in a row. I then got a call from Adam Shankman about if I wanted to come and do this really fun Adam Sandler film. And I was like, Yes! [laughs] Absolutely! Please! It was quite the thrill to get silly for a while."
