Early 30s-late 40s. Any ethnicity. Free-spirited artist, writer, musician, filmmaker who has lived a somewhat isolated creative life. She carries broken dreams and emotional depth beneath the surface, yet can also be upbeat, loose, funny and fun to be around. Slightly hippie-ish, yet modern & relatable. She likes to party, & often does so in very isolated creative ways. Looking for strong screen presence w/ ability to shift between warmth, charisma, & humor – to suspicion, nervousness, fear, vulnerability, & deep emotion.
40s-50s. Any ethnicity. The central stalking presence of the film. This is primarily a physical acting role with very little dialogue, so body language, movement and overall presence are extremely important. Must take direction exceptionally well! Will be shot through strategic angles, silhouettes, & unusual framing. The character has two dramatically different sides: at times he appears deeply disturbed, unstable, sick and completely out of his mind, including exaggerated psychotic behavior and unsettling physical mannerisms. At other moments completely calm, professional, controlled and normal. Most importantly, the actor must be able to create a subtle yet deeply eerie / disturbing “presence.” Please indicate whether or not you can drive a manual/stick-shift vehicle and if you have a valid driver's license.
Late 20s – Early 30s. Any ethnicity. Bob is nerdy/geeky, annoying, obnoxious, persistent, and oblivious — but in Bob's mind, Bob is the man. He is interested in the female supporting character, who of course wants nothing to do with him. Unfortunately for her, Bob does not seem to fully understand this. Looking for an actor with strong comic instincts who can make Bob irritating, virtually ridiculous, yet also funny without turning him into a cartoon. He should still feel like a real person underneath the humor. Bob also has a driving sequence, so please indicate whether you have a valid driver's license, whether you have access to your own vehicle and what type of vehicle it is.
Early 30s-late 40s. Any ethnicity. Longtime best friend of the female lead. Bubbly, easygoing, funny, uncomplicated - with a much lighter personality than the lead, but still has a good strong personality. She lives a much simpler life and seems to just go with the flow. There can be an almost “airhead-ish” quality to her at times, but she is not unintelligent — she is simply “her simplistic self” and not someone who overthinks everything (in fact, she doesn’t overthink anything). She’s very innocent. A simple soul. Looking for someone naturally likable, warm, expressive and fun, with an easy on-camera personality. Her friendship with the female lead should feel genuine.
