The entertainment business experienced a lot of ground-breaking milestones as it transitioned to home releases during the last year. Zack Snyder's Justice League was one of the big streaming blockbusters of the year, finally revealing the namesake filmmaker's vision for the DC blockbuster. The four-hour event was made possible, at least in part, by fans who campaigned for Snyder for years, and now filmmaking maestro Quentin Tarantino has offered his harsh take to such fan activism.
Given his extensive resume, Quentin Tarantino is someone to whom the general public frequently turns for information about the state of the film industry. When asked how fans contributed to the project's success, Tarantino was candid, saying: “I haven’t seen it, because I don’t have HBO Max, but that’s something I would like to see. I never saw the other one. I never saw (Justice League) when it was at the theaters. But I’d be kind of curious to see his four hour, you know, his original vision on that. I actually thought that was really groovy. And I actually thought the fans were really groovy, the fact that they kept persisting on it. Didn’t he do something like that with Watchmen, as well? But this one was like the fans demanded it. I think that’s really groovy.”
