It's always risky when a popular artist switches careers. That's exactly what happened to Method Man when he decided to go into the movie industry after so many years as an artist. It was a decision that opened him up to an entirely new path in his career. However, as expected, it wasn't an easy transition. Fortunately, according to him, he was able to learn from one of the best in the business Adam Sandler who gave him some tips that helped to brush up his acting skills. In a recent interview, Method Man talked about how Adam Sandler helped him to improve his acting skills.

He said, "I didn't want to mess up. I knew Tom McCarthy was an award-winning director, and I was so wrapped up like everybody was in this movie… All of us that [Sandler's character] becomes, we're trying to figure out, how do we act like Adam Sandler? I'm trying to watch Adam Sandler and get mannerisms and things of that nature when that wasn't the answer. The answer was, 'You're not trying to act like Adam, bro. He's trying to act like you, so act like you."
