Over the last decade and a half, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown into a gigantic force in the entertainment industry. However, some actors, such as Tom Hiddleston, who plays the wicked Loki, were able to get in on the ground floor in Phase 1. Hiddleston also disclosed a chat he had about joining Taika Waititi's future blockbuster as Thor: Love and Thunder wraps principal photography.

Thor: Love and Thunder will go down in Marvel history as the first hero to receive a fourth solo film. The film will feature a slew of recognizable names, including the Guardians of the Galaxy and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who will reprise her role... What about Loki, though? Tom Hiddleston remarked about his character's present status in the MCU before of his series' premiere on Disney+, saying: “We talked about the Thor movies as a family saga, and the diametric opposition between Thor and Loki and duality and antagonism being a book that perhaps should remain closed for the moment. We have explored about as much as we can about these two brothers.”

That's all there is to it. While Tom Hiddleston does not appear to be quitting his role as Loki anytime soon, we shouldn't anticipate him to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder or any potential sequels. Mostly because Thor and Loki's relationship has already been established. They eventually came to a decent conclusion, with each of them willing to die to save the other from Thanos.
