Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is many things. Apart from being an actor, producer, athlete and businessman, he is also a movie buff. The actor has appeared in some of the biggest movies over the last several years, like the Jumanji franchise.  He’s also shared instances in which he’s enjoyed watching movies particularly with his family. Due to his love of movies, it’s easy to believe that he’s aware of or has learned a few sweet behind-the-scenes nuggets.  It appears to be the case, as he recently revealed an interesting connection between his Jumanji films and the Jurassic Park franchise.

The Rock was just awarded People Magazine's No. 1 reason to love America, which is a huge honor for one of show business's toughest workers. With his popularity came a photo shoot in his home state of Hawaii. And it was in a recent Instagram post about the experience that Dwayne Johnson revealed the connection between the Jurassic Park and Jumanji worlds: “Standing in valleys of our sacred Hawaiian mountains of Kualoa. Spielberg’s JURASSIC PARK as well our JUMANJI movies were filmed at this beautiful location on the island. I’m obsessed with dinosaurs (true story) so I’d imagine this is exactly what my facial expression and body language would communicate if I lived 65 million years ago and stood tall in front of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.”
